PBWR Policy

This policy sets out the rules and guidelines under which Prime Book of World Records (“PBWR”, “we”, “us”) receives, reviews, verifies and recognises record attempts. By submitting an application, every applicant agrees to follow this policy in full.

1. Eligibility

Record applications are welcome from individuals, groups, organisations and institutions across the world, regardless of nationality, background or field. Applicants who are minors must submit written consent from a parent or legal guardian.

2. Application Process

• Applications must be submitted through our official application form with accurate and complete information.
• Incomplete, unclear or misleading applications may be rejected.
• Additional supporting details may be provided as separate documents or attachments.
• Review the relevant record guidelines before you begin training or your attempt.

3. Evidence & Documentation

Clear, genuine and unedited evidence is essential. Acceptable evidence includes video recordings, photographs, logbooks, official documents, media coverage and relevant certificates.

4. Witnesses & Authentication

• Attempts should be witnessed by at least two independent witnesses, or supported by notarised/attested statements.
• Witnesses should be persons of standing — e.g. a government officer, school principal or doctor.
• Specialised records may require an expert witness from the relevant field.
• The presence of a PBWR representative is not mandatory.

5. Verification & Judging

Every application is reviewed by our panel against defined record criteria. The decision of the panel is final and binding.

6. Safety & Responsibility

The safety of the applicant, participants and bystanders is the sole responsibility of the applicant. PBWR does not accept responsibility for injury, loss or damage arising from a record attempt. All attempts must be safe, legal and ethical.

7. Media & Publicity Rights

By applying, you grant PBWR the right to publish and use details, images and footage of your record for promotional, editorial and archival purposes across our website, social media and media-partner network.

8. Retention of Evidence

Materials submitted in support of an application will not be returned. Please retain your own copies of all original files.

9. Fees

As part of our current limited-time offer, the digital certificate is provided free of charge. Optional items and services may carry a fee, communicated clearly before any payment.

10. Refund Policy

Where a fee is applicable, it is non-refundable once the review process has begun, regardless of the outcome.

11. Disqualification & Rejection

• Providing false, forged or misleading information.
• Insufficient, unclear or unverifiable evidence.
• Attempts that are unsafe, illegal or unethical.
• Failure to follow this policy or the specific record guidelines.

12. Recognition & Certification

Verified record holders are entered into the official PBWR register and receive recognition that may include a certificate, medal, identity card and a media-partner feature.

13. Closing Dates

Where a record carries a stated closing date, entries received after that date will not be considered.

14. Amendments

PBWR may update this policy at any time. The latest version published on this page applies to all applications.

15. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
